Has
Nature Been Good to Japan?

Through a variety of pictures and maps, this lesson analyzes some
of the ways in which nature has affected the lives of people in
Japan. Students will explore how the geographic location of Japan
has predicated destructive earthquakes, dangerous volcanoes and
high-rising tsunami. Students will also develop an understanding
of the ways in which natural forces are viewed by Japanese people.
