War II and the symbolic role Emperor Hirohito retains. This is

This is not a lesson, but an article, an activity and link to
a website of Higashi Ojiya Junior High School, so that students
can learn more about what the lives of Japanese teenagers are
like. Students will be able to analyze this information and draw
parallels between their lives and education and that of Japanese
students.

ACTIVITIES: JAPAN DAY COMPETITION
This is not a lesson, but the score sheer is given for the development
of a Japan Day Competition. It is a project that requires students
to develop a three-dimensional model of Japan.
