1. ___ O Children of Israel! Call to mind the special favor which I bestowed upon you, and that I preferred you to all others.

2. ___ And remember, We delivered you from the people of Pharoah: they set you hard tasks and punishments, slaughtered your sons and let your women live... and remember, We divided the sea for you, saved you and drowned Pharoah's people within your very sight.

3. ___ Say 0 Muslims: We believe in God and that which is revealed unto us and that which was revealed unto Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the tribes, and that which Moses and Jesus received, and that which the Prophets received from their Lord. 8. ___ But said the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, "0 children of Israel! Worship God, my Lord and your Lord."

9. ___ But when he came to the fire, a voice was heard from the right bank of the valley, from a tree in hallowed ground, "0 Moses! Verily I am God, the Lord of the worlds. Now do thou throw thy rod! " But when he saw it moving of its own accord as if it had been a snake, he turned back in retreat.

10. ___ And We sent Noah and Abraham, and established in their line Prophethood and Revelation; and some of them were on right guidance, but many of them became rebellious transgressors.
